CI-EX means: Casting International-Extranet; it is a closed website for logistic and productional purposes to use by only personnel within the
Holding So speak!... Ltd (see organogram).

The 5 stages of (video-)filmproduction:

Each film production has 5 main phases in the development process, the marketing – as part of the production- is in all 5 stages intertwined:

1. Pre-production
   (R & D, script, scenario, screenplay, treatments incl. planning and cost calculations)
2. Production-shootings
   (on locations: film shootings)
3. Post production
   (editing and image manipulations)
4. Tag-production
   (film cutting into pieces for the knowledge sharing and putting film clips in the Search&Find-engine)
5. Distributions

By the production assembly line principle, the marketer works with standardizations
(as described in various policy documents) to realize quickly and effectively.
These standardizations are similar to an extensive function-network, in which all relationship networks for producing films, are clear and workable ordained.

Casting International extranet 'CI-EX'

The EXtranet is a closed website that support video production teams of Casting International Second Unit Worldwide with factual, creative, production, and
logistics knowledge especially concerning the manufacture of film mirrors.

Are you eg. in Mongolia, then you will find via CI-EX:
- all about our local project coordinators and/or fixers;
- where you can and where you can't spend the night;
- where helicopters are for rent, or horses, or clothing;
-  where to get Extras casting agency or actors;
- What/where the World wonder of Mongolia is;
- where the beautiful locations are;
- for what, and to whom you should request for permits;
- what you should and should not do from cultural point of view during production negotiations;
- etc.

CI-EX is as website design and in terms of functionalities already made on paper, but needs to becoming being built as website.

The goal of CI-EX:

Creating a network that in logistic terms meets the basic philosophy, to pressurized the cost of the 'assembly-line' products & services to make production and trade possible.
CI-EX is the heart of the logistics within the Holding So speak!... Ltd.

Content of CI-EX:

CI-EX is filled by content with the knowledge that already exists within CI and CISU.
This knowledge comes from a practical applied studies, experiences and archives by CI.
This information and knowledge is organized on an unique-innovative way making it quick to find.

According to the entrepreneurs plan there will be a content manager (key function) appointed to manage CI-EX.

For this function there is made a function profile sketch.
The content manager will constantly motivate the operators (crewmembers and project-coordinators) and staff members to fill in their lessons learned.
To ensure that only the appropriate/useful information is to find on CI-EX, the content manager is always operational within the staff of Casting International Ltd.
The management of CI-EX will be done by means of a supporting content management system (CMS).
By a CMS it is easy and quickly for the content manager to put in new content on CI-EX.
In addition, the content manager also needs to have good visibility on the linking of keywords of information.
Only if the right keywords are linked to information, the system remains workable.
In general, the archive/knowledge network is built-up from the basic philosophy for the logistics.

CI-EX offers great knowledge files on specialist subjects such as
war – peace, philosophy, religions, spirituality, psychology, firefighting, police, medical, art, law,
doctrines & requirements, details & history of all countries,
and encyclopedias in cases of creativity, administrations, growth, marketing, materials to rent, cinematography, and people to hire flexible.
There is access to a large 'own' library and an 'own' unique video library.

Procedural course of information flows.
Making film / TV programs is a complicated production process with very many different officials and very much information is needed.
The production process starts with:

• the pre-production, in which stories are written and worked out on paper.
• The following step is the production, including the shootings.
• Then follows the post production where the 'raw' footage is edited into a film.
• Then follows the tag*-production process and the distribution process, including placing the footage on the consumer server of RTPK.
• Finally, assessments for improvements of these productions should be inserted in the system.

In the production process, many officials of CI(SU) and third parties are involved, all of them have a great need for information. To realize this, there is CI-EX.

There will be also an increasing consumer demand for products and services of the Holding.
These products and services come as content* on 1 of the 5 online television stations.
The production process is expensive, should therefore be carried out quickly, and that is only possible with good organized logistics.
This means, among other things, that several officials are busy at the same time with productions of different projects coming from different formats*.
Starting point is that there is always just one shoot going on directed by the entrepreneur Casting International (possibly excluding I...R-productions).
Since the entrepreneur will constantly take part in the shootings, it is logistically* not possible to be present at each production preparation, this is why these tasks are delegated to the staff.
The experiences of all should be as simple and efficient as possible accessible for anyone in any place.
Everything needs to be very well organized, because the effectiveness of the communication processes determines the success of the entire Holding.

For all the above mentioned ‘the Casting International Extranet (CI-EX)’ is the production key.
It is an internal knowledge network in which employees can share structured experiences with each other guarantying an effective communication.
An extranet is a combination of intranet and internet.
CI-EX is accessible anywhere in the World for a select group of users each one in their category:
co-owners, Holding-staff employees, crew members, partners, cast and subscribers, even the general public.
We work with 6 safety categories that guarantee against unauthorized security passwords and authorizes 6 categories of users of CI-EX.

There is for the entire CI-EX knowledge system created an functional design by using a use-case diagram, an activity diagram, and design pages for all the user functionalities.

CI-EX will initially become available in Dutch and in English, followed by French, German, and Spanish.

The logistical knowledge that the CI-EX-system generates, is streamlined in two ways:

1. knowledge to trained personnel, and
2. knowledge to make movies and TV-programs in an assembly line

Process management

Process management is the heart of the productions and thereby gives effect to the corporate culture.
This is the reason why there is dedicated a separate section in this plan.
A film-TV production process is a set of coherent activities that influence each other (input)
Converted together in a movie/TV program in which an imago-value is added for clients (output).

Management of the film/TV system production processes concerns creative thinking, delegating and checking the contents of production processes by (the staff of) CI.

The process of movie making is in general very complex; There are many interests involved, there are many main and intermediate steps necessary, and there are many different officials involved.

For CI-films in particular additional complex processes are related to online distribution making ready multilingual* "taggings*"), with or without advertising versions,
inclusive advertising codes*, (subliminal*) emotionvoices, and of course the spiritual* education* additions.

Intent is to get within 5 years factory-made series-productions, what the costs will reduce enormously.
This kind of productions puts a greater emphasis on concepts, formats, skills & drills.
As mantras recited they are included for all employees in each production step.
That makes filmproducing fluently.
In particular if the spring system© is operationalized as default: it saves considerably in costs for top-feature films.

In the production process of CI the continuity comes first; i.e. that the management gives much attention to the key transitions of the main steps,
and the key processes of successive intermediate steps.
This prevents errors, because in practice incorrect transfers information is caused by too late or not at all internal communication.
The staff of CI is focused on these between-steps to reduce the risks.

The continuity within the production processes is guaranteed because all production process steps are integrated in the CI-EX system. Examples:
