Cast

The cast are all AV software * phenomena * that appear before the camera (for example, actors and figuration, but also animals).

Potential functions before the camera at the location of our productions are:

Everyone with developed talents as an amateur or (semi-) professional who like to work by playing a role before the camera in movies that bring by education more justice, peace, non-violence and/or human rights in the World, is welcome.

In case of professionals, we like to work more with performers with large (empathetic) talents, then with "famous" people.
Also this last group is welcome of course, but they should realize that our filmproduct in terms of viewing figures (by the Worldwide audience) revolves around the brand ® 'Casting International' by the special story-tellings and not to the personal name of the "celebrity".

Casting International also prefer to work businesswise dealing with people directly on everyone's 'personal title', then with brokers or agents as intermediaries. With all respect to them, they have other interests than the necessary commitment to our peace messages.

Recruitment and selection:

Based on the 'specific image-visualization needs’ of a script*/format* and standard*-criteria, job profile sketches are formulated for the persons playing those roles before the camera (cast).

The job profile sketches will be published on (for example) Facebook, but you can registrate yourself in advance, see the contact form (at the bottom page: registration).

The advantage of your registration is that in the recruitment procedure, we always make in our secretariat first of all a selection of first hand possibilities by using our existing network of we-know-us.
This creates for you greater chance for playing a role.

The normal method for finding and contracting the cast for smaller roles is by phone, or on the set by oral agreements, which on the day of filming itself is to be converted, at least by quitclaims, either for, on behalf of or by foudation CastingInternational-Expeditions {and/or Casting International (private company), and/or the Second Unit (private production company)}.

Before a verbal agreement is made, there is standard always an on-hold period of at least 1 hour, usually 24 hour (on-hold means that this cast is stand-by, without a mutual full agreement to act).
The on-hold is preceded by one or more various types of castings.

Earnings

Rewards are in accordance with market prices and thus depending of the project/format, the type and specific role, the working conditions, the degree of training and/or experiences, and personal abilities.
Rewards not always need be of a financial nature.

Generally, there is no overarching collective agreement.
